The Cornish Wedding Adventure
Studiage took a trip to the coast for their latest creative venture, spectacular decorations for Hannah and Barry's wedding at Treworgie Barton farm in beautiful North Cornwall.
Hand made by Garudio Studiage, the event was themed as an "Seaside Cottage Holiday on Broadway", a visionary blend of nostalgia, whimsy and glitz
The crowning glory of the day was the 10 foot long glittered Tunnel of Love whose flashing lights marked the transition from rolling hills and sunshine to an enchanted world inside a drab-looking tin sheepshed. Once through the tunnel, guests got to walk down the carpet-bricked Yellow Brick Road, whose iconic spiral ended in a 'big-enough-to-jump-out-of' wedding cake adorned with busy gnomes and hundreds of tiny hand made rabbits.
With the Minnie Mouse style bow on the wedding car (a Mini of course), the bride's Ruby Slippers (hand-adorned with 1,500 Swarovski crystals) and the after dinner Bingo game, the event was bursting with Garudio's playful style and meticulous attention to detail. Once the cake was cut, the Yellow Brick Road turned into the dancefloor and the starlit ceiling saw over the party till the early hours.
